SF Bay Area Artists for Ukraine: An Online Show to Benefit World Central Kitchen in the Ukraine

1 - 10 April 2022

March 31, 2022

Thank you to everyone who came to the fundraising exhibit at SHOH Gallery on Gilman. While the physical show has come off the walls, with many pieces of artwork headed to new homes, we have decided to continue the online art benefit through April 10th. There are new works and many people have asked us to keep it going just a bit longer. We are hoping to reach our goal of $20,000 for World Central Kitchen's efforts in the Ukraine!

Working together with a team of artists creating in the San Francisco Bay Area, SHOH Gallery is hosting a special art exhibit to fundraise for World Central Kitchen (WCK) in support of their work in Ukraine.

WCK uses the power of food to heal communities in times of crisis and beyond. As you might have seen in recent news, WCK’s Chef Relief Teams rushed to the borders of Ukraine right at the start of the Russian invasion. They have worked tirelessly to provide nourishment to the hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians fleeing their war-torn homeland.

The gallery itself will be donating 30% of each sale from our exhibit, with artists donating an additional percentage from their proceeds. That’s up to 80% of sales from the exhibit that can possibly go toward supporting WCK!

Our goal is to reach $20,000 by the conclusion of the show. You can follow the progress of our fundraising efforts at http://donate.wck.org/SFBAAForUkraine

Join us in our fight against hunger. Together, we can paint a better world.

Thank you.
